1980 saw the start of the first ever Auchtermuchty Festival, and the birth of the Auchtermuchty Festival Society. This has been so successful that we are now entering our 30th year. Each year has its own theme. The final weekend of the festival sees the Traditional Music Weekend with the finest proponents of traditional song and music from all over the country and beyond.
